Sleep is undoubtedly important. However, do you know, or even feel how important it is to you?
Of course you know, but why are you still sabotaging your precious sleep periods? It is because you can’t vividly experience the benefits, or you are unaware of them. Your subconscious doesn’t see the importance of sleeping, even when you desperately need it.
With that being said, you need to hack the benefits of sleep into the core of your brain. Plus, you have to really feel the difference you have had after you had consecutive days of “quality sleep”. Only the enthusiasm will keep you going.
Below is an “exaggerated” list of the importance of sleep. Really, it isn’t that exaggerated because sleep is just THAT GOOD…

Benefits of Sleeping
P.S. print this list out and stick it everywhere ;D
Top-tier memory: you retain better of everything you learn for the day
Extraordinary concentration: you can miraculously be very attentive at crunch times, and you would even feel productive and satisfied after a great day of undivided focus
Primed body conditions: you feel stronger and healthier, you can take up tasks like you can never before, you will feel like a fully charged Samsung… you will never run out of battery
Fabulous connections: you become more extraverted and energetic to talk to people. Meanwhile, people you talk to feel the drive and positive energy from you. Charisma is going strong, hence the relationships you have improve greatly
High dopamine: This is the substance that keeps you motivated. When you’re asleep, the dopamine refill station activates. In the next day, you yearn to achieve your goals, and to do productive things. You just don’t like to stop and waste your time. You are on fire.
Everything just seems to be in the right place: it’s still a myth, but I’d say yes for myself. Having enough sleep is literally like a magic spell.
A cool thing to do is that you keep the key words, but you change the latter part of each point. Then, you add something positive that YOU can strongly feel / experience after you have a good night’s sleep. That way, you can make this list personal and user-friendly.
If you walk around the house seeing these powerful things a good sleep can do, you would dive into the bed right away.
Sleep duration varies between people. There are people who needs 9 hours of sleep, while some needs only 6. Moreover, sleep times also vary. It is important you try to feel what time slot is the best for you, and hence try to keep constant with that sleep routine.
Nonetheless…
Enjoy sleep. It’s the best thing humans have discovered.
